Why 'Selling Out' Is a Good Thing

So, to pull the curtain back here slightly: This was initially going to be a cons and nons segment like the one we did with the Entertainment Strategy Guy a month or so back. But Alyssa and Peter were having such a good chat with Franklin Leonard of The Black List about his two-part (part one; part two) series on the morality of “selling out”—as he notes in their chat, the quotation marks there are important—they went too long for it to work as a segment.
